here are two picture that i altered using photoshop. i have to admit that photoshop is still pretty much a forign language to me. in the picture of the two people in the cave, i increased the saturation of the water to bring out the green-blue color a bit. i also brightened up the man on the right and increased the contrast somewhat. on the landscape i felt that the upper lefthand portion of the picture was underexposed so i darkened that up a bit using the lasso tool, and adjusting the brightness and contrast. i also increased the saturation of the whole picture to bring out the actual colors a litte more. lastly i used the paintbrush tool to play with the shadows a bit.

i love the oppritunities that we have for landscape photography here in vermont. i like to try and have a diverse landscape in my pictures, mountain, water, trees, ect... the third picture is an example of landscape in a totally diffferent climate. The rainbow pic. i like really just for the rainbow, the rest of the pic is nothing special.

framing....

in the picture with two people, they are positioned on the third lines. in the other the subject is positioned in the middle. i always like to position things on the third lines when possible because i think that it adds more depth to the shot.

There is really not as much varietion as i would have liked, mostly just a variation in weather which i thought was going to have more of a difference in the lighting, but i guess not... oh well.

These are my examples... the leaves are my monochromatic photo and the sunset is my example of an analogous color scheme
